Electro-Chemical "Power Clothes"...
The current crop of wearable computers we have developed still consume between 8 - 12 watts of power. Needless to say, that for long run times (6-10 hrs per charge) requires batteries of considerable weight. One idea, is to distribute watts per square inch over the clothing. Thus, allowing for a higher density battery charge without the problem of centralized weight. Small thin Lithium-Ion batteries will be sewn throughout the clothing to demondstrate the distribution technique as a prototype, Phase two will be further advanced as actual flexible plastic batteries will be woven into washable clothing that can be recharged over 2,000 times.

As we finish projects related to this area, the articals and information will appear here.
